The 24-year-old fast bowling all-rounder, Sayali Satghare, debuted for India at the Internationals in the 1st ODI match against Ireland at the Saurashtra Cricket Association stadium in Rajkot.
Satghare got her maiden call-up for India, and her debut cap was presented to her in the presence of her parents after Renuka Singh was rested in the first ODI match.
Including a 24-year-old all-rounder is expected to keep the team more balanced, targeting the 2025 ODI World Cup.
She has represented the Gujarat Giants in the Women’s Premier League 2024 in only 1 match as a concussion substitute for D Hemalatha; however, she could not show her full potential in that match, scoring only 7 runs. Gujarat showed faith in her and retained her for 2025 in INR 10 lakhs.
