The Nepali batting all-rounder Kushal Malla joins Desert Viper for the ILT20 2025, which is set to kick off on this date as a replacement for the Netherlands’s all-rounder Bas de Leede.
Bas de Leede was ruled out of the tournament according to a press release of the Desert Vipers, and Malla was signed in as a replacement.
Kushal Malla is a batting all-rounder with left-hand batting and provides an option in the left-arm spin bowling.

Desert Vipers will play their first match against Abu Dhabi Knight Riders on day 2 of the tournament on January 12 at Zayed Cricket Stadium in Abu Dhabi.
