Rohit Sharma retirement from test cricket is aired all over social media after a devastating loss against Australia in the 4th test match at Melbourne on Monday by 184 runs.
Rohit Sharma added one more test loss to the tally record of his test captaincy for India. In the last 7 test matches, India has only won one test match, that too under the captaincy of Jasprit Bumrah in the first test match of BGT series 2024.
In the last 6 test matches, Rohit captained; he lost 5 matches, and one game was a draw due to rain interruptions. Australia almost knocked down India in the 3rd test match too; however, Rain had some different plans that resulted in the match being a draw.
The last time India won the test match was the first test match of the Border Gavaskar Trophy 2024, but under Bumrah’s captaincy as full-time captain Sharma was on paternity leave to welcome his baby boy.
However, Rohit’s comeback didn’t go that way as India suffered brutal dominance in the second test match by Australia, and India bore another outrageous loss by 10 wickets at Adelaide Oval Stadium.
