The Pakistan Super League is all set to clash with the 18th edition of the Indian Premier League, this time due to the hosting of the Champions League in Pakistan.
The IPL’s 18th edition is set to kick off from March 14 to May 25, while PSL schedules are also expected to be on within the same dates.
Big names of the T20I from various countries like Australia, New Zealand, and West Indies were unsold in the mega auction at Jeddah this time, and PSL is expected to benefit from this.
According to social media rumors, 2 big names from Afghanistan are also in contact with the PSL franchises for the Pakistan Super League 2025.

2 Big Names from Afghanistan for PSL 2025
1. Mujeeb-ur-Rahman
Rahman has already represented Peshawar Zalmi in the Pakistan Super League from 2021 to the present and is expected to be the Peshawar; however, the auction module, PSL drafts, and direct signing may have different plans for him too in the PSL 2025.
Rahman is the youngest player in the history of ODI cricket to take a 5-wicket haul at the age of 16 years and 325 days.

2. Mohammad Nabi
Mohammad Nabi is expected to be playing in the Pakistan Super League this time as he remains unsold in the IPL auction. Nabi was the skipper of the T20I side of Afghanistan and had quality experience as his core strength as a skipper and as a batter, which might make him valuable in the PSL 2025.
Nabi has represented Karachi Kings in 2021, and he had an awesome season in 2022 with Kolkata Knight Riders.
