The Pakistan Cricket Board announced the player draft for PSL 2025 on January 11 in their newly released promo video as the Board was previously engaged in preparation for the Champions Trophy and South Africa tour of Pakistan for 3 T20I matches and 3 ODIs.
The player draft for PSL 2025 dates is announced for January after a one-off test between South Africa and Pakistan and before the West Indies tour of Pakistan.
Many unsold yet valuable stars are expected to be playing in the player draft for PSL 2025, as big names of the IPL and T20I cricket went unsold in the auction this time at Jeddah.
England players are also tied to the rule of the England Cricket Board to promote and prioritize their domestic cricket league.
While big names from New Zealand are set to be seen in the auction and player draft for PSL 2025. Big names like Daryl Mitchell, Kane Williamson, Kyle Jamieson, Finn Allen, Michael Bracewell, and Will O’Rourke went unsold in the auction.

Kane Williamson
Kane Williamson went unsold at the auction this time with the base price of 2.00 crores. Williamson was part of the Gujarat Titans in the last edition; however, he was ruled out after 2 matches while taking the catch at the boundary line.
Kane Williamson has a high probability of playing in PSL 2025, as franchises are highly interested in signing big names.
Daryl Mitchell
The big guy Daryl Mitchell also went unsold at the IPL auction this time with a base price of 2.00 crore. Having played for Chennai last season, Daryl was expected to get a big hand in the auction; however, he went unsold.
Mitchell is now in contact with the PSL franchises for the upcoming edition of the Pakistan Super League.
Finn Allen
Finn Allen is another big name expected to be in the PSL draft, as the guy with his strong hard-hitting abilities is expected to get big cash in the PSL this time.
Kyle Jamieson
The 6-foot-6-inch right-arm medium-fast bowler with batting abilities in the lower order would be in the target of the PSL franchise this time.
Jamieson can fill the slot of pacers and also the batter in vulnerable batting conditions.
Adam Milne
The IPL auction this time gave a great shock after Adam Milne also went unsold this time. Adam entered the auction with 2 crores as the base price; however, no teams were ready to invest in the right-arm fast bowler.
