Kings were going smoothly in the power play overs until Shamar Springers strike in the fifth over of the inning dismissing dangerous man Johnson Charles for just 25 runs in 20 deliveries as he got caught behind while trying to smash the ball over the point while SLK were at 40 after 4.5 overs.

Roston Chase at No.3 made a long walk back to the pavilion for a golden duck followed by skipper Faf du Plessis in the next ball for 14 runs in 12 deliveries. Chriss Linn missed his Hattrick as Tim Seifert played forward defensive toward mid.

Ackeem WJ Auguste smashed 35 runs in 28 deliveries for the Kings which became crucial in the par total of the Kings.

Wiese’s unbeaten 42 runs were proven crucial for the Kings who seemed to struggle in the middle overs however they concluded the summary with 152 runs to the boards losing 8 wickets and David Wiese as their highest run scorer.

2nd Innings

With 153 on the boards to chase, the Falcons opened their inning with Justin Greaves and Kofi James while Wiese started with the opening over for Kings.

Khary Pierre strikes early in his first over-dismissing Kofi James for just 11 runs. Pierre continues to destroy the batsmen of the Falcons as he picked 2 wickets in his 2nd over conceding no runs in that over.

ABF was reduced to 24/3 at the end of the 3rd overs after 2 wicket maiden of Kharry Pierre.

Wickets kept falling at regular intervals as the Falcons lost half of the side inside the powerplay overs as they were 28/5 at the end of 6 overs.

Skipper Chriss Green and Shamar Springer finally stabilized the inning of the ABF after suffering brutally in the power play overs.

However, the pair got hunted for their miscommunication which led Shamar Springer to suffer an unfortunate runout, and the partnership came to an end. Springer departed adding 24 runs in 32 deliveries.

Skipper Tim Seifert was looking strong at the other end and slowly moving toward the target however the required run rate was still too high.

Noor Ahmad bagged his 2nd wicket in the inning and 10th of the season dismissing important batter Chriss Green at 48 runs which shatters the hope of Falcons in the runchase.

Green missed his half-century by just 2 runs and Falcons lost their 7 wickets but the story didn’t end there as Finn Allen got dismissed in the next over for just 2 runs.

Roshon Primus added 17 runs in the death overs in just 10 balls however was not enough to get his team across the line as the Falcons fell short of 27 runs. SLK won the match by 26 runs registering their 4th win of the season and climbed at No.2 in the points table.
