The PSL player retention 2024 list is finally announced by the PSL management as the Pakistan Super League released the list of 87 local players with 5 different categories assigned for the upcoming 10th edition of the PSL, which is scheduled from 8 April to 19 May.
Here are five categories and 87 PSL players retained for 2025, assigned for the 10th edition.

Platinum Players Retention PSL
A total of 4 new cricketers are promoted to the Platinum category from the Diamond category, as there were only 9 cricketers in the Platinum category in the last edition of PSL.
Hasan Ali, Mohammad Amir, Saim Ayub, and Usama Mir are promoted to the platinum category.
The other nine players, Imad Wasim, Naseem Shah, Shadab Khan, Fakhar Zaman, Haris Rauf, Shaheen Shah Afridi, Iftikhar Ahmed, Mohammad Rizwan, and Babar Azam, are retained in the Platinum category.
PSL player retention in the Diamond category
A total of 16 players will be part of the Diamond category in the 10th edition of the Pakistan Super League. Quetta Gladiators and Multan Sultans have the highest number of players, 4 in the diamond category, while Karachi Kings have Abdullaj Shalique only in the diamond category.
