4 cricketers are promoted to the list of the platinum category PSL from the diamond category as the Pakistan Cricket Board announced the category renewal of the players for the 10th edition of the Pakistan Super League on December 17.
A total of 87 players are included in five different categories. Platinum, Diamond, Gold, Silver, and Emerging are the five categories.
13 players are listed in the platinum category PSL, while 16 players are each in the diamond and silver categories.
30 players are registered in the golden categories, while 12 are in the emerging player category.
Out of 13 players in the Platinum category, 4 players are promoted from the Diamond category, while the other 9 are from previous renewals.

- Usama Mir
All four players mentioned above were previously listed in the Diamond category of the PSL; however, they have now been promoted to the platinum category for the 10th edition of the Pakistan Super League.
