The left-handed batter from New Zealand, Mark Chapman, became the 6th New Zealand player to sign in for the PSl drafts of the 10th edition of the most anticipated league.
Big New Zealand stars like Daryl Mitchell, Colin Munro, Martin Guptill, Tim Southee, and Adam Milne have already signed up for the drafts scheduled for January 11 in Lahore.
Who is Mark Chapman?
Mark Chapman is a Hong Kong-born cricketer who debuted in professional cricket for Hong Kong in 2014. However, he has represented Hong Kong in both U-15 and U-19.
He moved to New Zealand and started his professional cricket career in Auckland. He is among the few players to score a century in his ODI debut game against the UAE in 2015 at ICCA Dubai.
Chaman had played 26 ODI games so far combined for both nations and scored 564 runs while batting in the 22 innings at a strike rate of 106.21 so far.
Chapman has scored 1608 runs in T20I cricket in 80 games he played while batting in 72 innings at a strike rate of 131.69. He has smashed 2 ODIs and a T20i century in his name, while 1 half-century and 8 half-centuries in ODIs and T20i games, respectively.

Mark Chapman in T20S
30-year-old Mark Chapman has gained huge experience in the T20 games. He has played 171 T20 games so far and scored 3424 runs in 154 innings, including 2 centuries and 20 half-centuries.
He has also featured in the Lanka Premier League and Caribbean Premier League and scored 225 runs in 8 innings of LPL while having a bad season at the CPL.
This is the first time Chapman registered for the PSL drafts; however, chances of getting picked in the drafts are uncertain and unpredictable, as big names from Australia like Usman Khawaja, David Willey, and David Warner are also in the auction drafts list, which will make the drafts competitive.
