Sufiyan Muqeem sets the record for the most economical spell in T20I for Pakistan against Zimbabwe in the second T20I match at Queens Sports Club.
Sufiyan Muqeem bagged five wickets against Zimbabwe and conceded only 3 runs in 2.3 overs of the spell he bowled. He achieved historic milestones in just his 7th appearance in the T20I jersey for Pakistan.
Zimbabwe won the toss and elected to bat first against Pakistan, led by Salman Ali Agha.
Zimbabwe opened the inning brilliantly with their opening batter in the powerplay overs. The opening pair added a 37-run partnership.

However, only the opening pair batted well as Zimbabwe went on to lose another 9 wickets for just 20 runs as none of the other batters reached a double-digit score for Zimbabwe.
Zimbabwe was swept away by Sufiyan Muqeem in the second T20I match. Abbas Afridi also bowled an economical spell, conceding only 2 runs in 2 overs and bagging 2 wickets.
Skipper Salman Ali Agha, Haris Rauf, and Abrar Ahmed picked up 1 wicket each for the team, and As a result, Zimbabwe was bowled out for just 57 runs.
The below-average target was chased down by Pakistan’s opener batters, Saim Ayub and Omair Yousuf, in just 5.3 overs, and they won the series 2-0 with 1 match remaining.
Sufiyan Muqeem was awarded Player of the Match for his economical spell of 1.13 against Zimbabwe.
