The Pakistan Cricket Board announced the dates for the PSL draft, which is scheduled after the test series against South Africa and before the West Indies tour of Pakistan on January 11.
PSL management, Pakistan Cricket Boards, and franchise representatives of the 6 franchises had agreed to directly sign foreign players for PSL.
The direct signing of foreign players will open big doors for franchises to contact big players who remain unsold in the IPL auction at Jeddah.
The inaugural edition of the Nepal Premier League, founded by CAN, also saw the direct signing of foreign players in the franchises.
PSL franchises are already in contact with the big players, which can create a big sensation in the Pakistan Super League 2025.

As players will be off on their national duty during the IPL, this left a door open for the PSL franchise to sign big players in their league.
Australian players will be in high spirits during the direct signing of the franchises, as top Australian players also remain unsold this time.
Big names like David Warner Steve Smith, Jason Behrendorff, and Jhye Richardson went unsold in the biggest franchise cricket league of the world.
