Travis Head dominated the Indian bowling line-up in the Gabba Test match by playing a big knock of 152 runs in 160 deliveries with a strike rate of 95 while smashing 18 fours in his inning, while Smith became the first player to smash 10 centuries against India in a minimum number of innings, i.e., 45 innings only.
The Indian skipper won the coin flip session of the match and elected to bowl first against the Aussies. The young side of the Indian bowling lineup dominated the first session, scalping 3 big wickets of the Australians.
Australia plotted a comeback on the second day of the rain-interrupted match after Travis Head and Steve Smith played the knock that Rishabh Pant played in his last Gabba test match of BGT 2023.

Steve Smith equalized the record of Joe Root for most test centuries against India after he completed his 10th century against India in just 41 innings.
Australians are now at 405 runs at the loss of 7 wickets with Alex Carey and Mitchell Starc in the crease for the opening session of day 3. Carey is at 45 runs while pace gun Starc is at 7 runs on 7 deliveries.
