1. Rohit Sharma, Shubman Gill, and Virat Kohli were dismissed for single-digit scores

India vs Bangladesh Test Series started as Bangladesh opted to bowl first in the first inning of the Bangladesh Test Match.

India opened with Rohit Sharma and Yashasvi Jaiswal, Rohit Sharma was dismissed by Hasan Mahmud for just 6 runs.

Virat Kohli at No.3 only added six runs and became the second wicket of the Mahmud. Mahmud dismissed Shubman Gill for a duck sweeping the top orders for just a mere 12 runs.

2. Gulshan Jha Record of a 5-wicket haul and half-century in the same match.

Nepali Cricketer Gulshan Jha became the youngest Player i.e. just 18 years to take a 5-wicket haul and smash a half-century in the same match.

Nepal scored a total of 220 runs in the first innings with Gulshan jha 53 runs in just 35 deliveries however Gulshan Jha’s 5-wicket haul went in vain after Nepal failed to defend 8 runs in the final over.

However, the record is registered as the youngest ever player in the international to register fifty and 5-wicket hauls and still ended on the losing side with Player of the Match.

Ravichandran Ashwin parallels the record of MS Dhoni’s six test centuries being a Spin Allrounder. Ravichandran Ashwin and Ravindra Jadeja assisted India’s escape from 144/6 to 335/6 at the end of day 1.

India was struggling with the bat as Big giants of Indian cricket i.e. Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli were back into the pavilion for just 6 runs each and Shubman Gill for a duck.

India was reduced to 144 for 6 after Yashashvi Jaiswal and Rishabh Pant who were looking to stabilize the inning also got dismissed and Hasan Mahmud picked up 4 wickets against India on day 1 at Chennai.

Ravichandran Ashwin and Ravindra Jadeja slowly stabilized the inning and started playing their shots adding a 195-run partnership for India which moved India from 144/6 to 335/6.

5. Hasan Mahmud’s 4 wickets against India on day 1 at Chennai.

Mahmud cleared the top order of India within the first hour of the play for just 12 runs. Rohit Sharma for 6 runs, Virat Kohli for just 6 runs, and Shubman Gill for a duck.

He also dismissed set man Rishabh Pant for 39 runs and completed his 4-wicket haul against India.

6. Yashashvi Jaiswal’s prime form in Test Cricket

Yashashi Jaiswal is in his prime form in Test cricket which he further continues in the Bangladesh Test series. Jaiswal added 56 runs to the team’s total in 118 balls he played at a strike rate of 47.46 including 9 boundaries.

7. Ben Duckett missed his well-deserved century

Ben Duckett missed his well-deserved Century by just 5 runs in the first ODI match of the England vs Australia ODI series.

England won the toss and decided to bat first and posted 315 runs to the boards for Australia.

Ben Duckett’s 95 Runs is the highest run for the England team as they were heading toward a big total but Australia made a comeback in the final 10 overs and bold out England inside 49 overs.
